The Video Converter uses WebCodecs — your browser’s built-in access to the GPU’s video encoders — so even large files convert quickly and stay on your computer.

1. Drop the video
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV all work. The drop zone shows the length and resolution, and the video plays right below it so you can check it.
2. Choose the output
- MP4 — plays everywhere: phones, TVs, Instagram, TikTok, editors.
- WebM — open format for websites (VP9 / Opus).
- MOV / MKV — for workflows that ask for them.
- MP3 / WAV — keep only the sound; pick 128, 192 or 320 kbps for MP3.
- GIF — choose start, length, width and frame rate.
3. Convert
Press Convert. When the streams already fit the new container — for example an iPhone MOV going to MP4 — they are copied without re-encoding: almost instant and lossless. Otherwise the video is re-encoded at the quality you picked.
