The Video Resizer & Compressor changes everything that decides how a video looks and how big it is — resolution, aspect ratio, bitrate and frame rate — with a live size estimate.

1. Drop the video and watch it
The video plays under the drop zone. The estimate box shows the source resolution, length, bitrate and size.
2. Pick resolution and aspect ratio
Resolution sets the short side: 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 720p, 480p or 360p — or enter exact pixels. Aspect ratio switches to 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 4:3 or 21:9. With Crop to fill a red frame on the preview shows exactly what will be kept; Fit with bars keeps the whole picture.
3. Pick the bitrate
- Auto — high quality, size depends on the video.
- Mbps — a fixed bitrate; 8–12 Mbps is plenty for 1080p, 4–6 Mbps for 720p.
- Target size — type the limit (25 MB for Discord, 16 MB for WhatsApp…) and the tool calculates the bitrate. It encodes at a constant bitrate and re-encodes once more if needed, so the file lands at or a little under the limit.

4. Frame rate, format, audio
Keep the original frame rate or choose 60, 30 or 24 fps. MP4 (H.264) is the safest for social apps; WebM (VP9) suits websites. Untick Keep audio for silent background loops. Press Resize video and download the result.
